A pile of dead mainboards

A pile of mainboards, all of them dead. Thought it looked neat. We install dozens of mainboards a month into new and used machines.

    There will be no final resting place for these ones. Almost all our computer waste goes to the recyclers, where it is melted down for its metals. I figure, on average, we scrap around 150 kilos of computer stuff junk per week. Cases and monitors make up much of that weight.
